Last month I spoke to a customer whose best friend had gone on holidays in Broome with her family, while she was about to go out for a drive in the hired 4WD she asked her little boy to get in the back. He went around the back alright, but not IN the car. Unbeknownst to Mum and with the chaos of the other kids in the car, she backed right over her little boy. His injuries, I believe, was a badly broken leg and needed to be air lifted to Darwin hospital. That’s where we came in, her gorgeous friend organized a Monster Chocolates and Cookies Hamper and a plush Cookie Monster to go to the little boy in Darwin hospital, because only a “Cookie Monster cuddle” will help! I have not stopped thinking about how that Mum must be feeling, if I was in her shoes I don’t know how I would forgive myself, but I know you would have to somehow. So to that Mum, please know that in that moment your intentions were to keep your boy safe, and that accidents happen, especially with little kids. I hope you are forgiving yourself and you and your boy are doing well!
