I was recently having lunch with some fellow business owners, and the conversation moved to “how to get referrals from happy clients”.  I know that this can be difficult in this day and age to get busy people to write a testimonial or to even like our Facebook page, however, they are the best customers to refer us as they have like-minded friends and business colleagues that will use your business too.   What many businesses do to spread the word is to send them gift baskets to thank them for their custom and ask them to write a review.
I have recently been working with a customer who helps individuals purchase investment properties, once they settle they organise a gourmet gift basket as quickly as possible to coincide with the settlement.  They have been very happy with the quality and the quick service we provide them and their customer is referring them to their friends.. Win win for all of us!
